Here are some of the most famous Indian CEOs in America who are leading the world's biggest tech brands:

Sunder Pichai

The CEO of Google, Sunder Pichai is on the top when it comes to the famous Indian CEOs in America. He took over his position in October 2015 by replacing then CEO and founder Larry Page. Sunder Pichai is 46-years-old in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He grew up and completed schooling in Ashok Nagar, Chennai.

He attended IIT Kharagpur in India and received his MS from Stanford and MBA from Wharton. In the year 2004, Pichai joined the tech giant where he led product management for several products, including Google Drive and Google Chrome. After ten years in 2014, he was a contender to take the position of CEO of Microsoft.

Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella became the CEO of Microsoft in the year 2014; he replaced Steve Ballmer, a long-time friend of co-founder Bill Gates. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella worked at Sun Microsystems. Since he became CEO, he has overseen a significant shift towards cloud computing via the Azure platform and a much-improved Windows10, sending the share price shooting upward.

Satya Nadella was born in Hyderabad. He attended the Naipaul Institute of Technology, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the University of Chicago.

Shantanu Narayen

Shantanu Narayen, the President and CEO of Adobe are another famous Indian CEO in America. In the year 2005, he was appointed as president and chief operating office of the company and became CEO two years later.

Shantanu Narayen has many honours and awards on his name for his outstanding leadership and work. In 2018, he was named as Global Indian of the Year for overseeing Adobe's development of a cloud-based subscription approach, generating recurring revenues. In academics, he did his studies from Osmania University, the University of California, Berkeley, and Bowling Green State University.

Sanjay Mehrotra

Growing up in Delhi, Sanjay Mehrotra took over as the CEO of Micron in the year 2019. He is a 30-year old and today has become a renowned name in the semiconductor memory industry. Presently, he holds more than 770 patents in the field. In 1988, he co-founded SanDisk that was acquired by Western Digital for $19 billion.

Sanjay Mehrotra did his studies from the University of California; there he earned his bachelor's as well as master's in electrical engineering and computer sciences. Apart from his position as CEO, he is also the chair of the Semiconductor Industry Association, a trade group.

Vivek Sankaran

The president and CEO of Albertsons Companies, Vivek Sankaran is one of the most Famous Indian CEOs in America. He took his position earlier this year and before this, he served as the CEO of PepsiCo Foods and North America.

Presently, Sankaran overseas over 2269 stores across 34 states, including more than 800 Safeway's, earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and master's from the Georgia Institute of Technology in industrial engineering.

Arvind Krishna

The newest of the Indian-born big-tech CEOs in America, Arvind Krishna got his position for just a few months back. His biggest claims to fame were planning IBM's US$34-billion purchase of Red Hat, an open-source software company.

Before this position, he was the senior vice president of cloud and cognitive software at IBM. The popular magazine, the Wired Magazine praised his work and contribution on blockchain in the year 2016.

He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
