BLR Logistiks (l) Ltd: Giving Logistics and transportation a new definition with its expertise

Transportation is the center of the world. Today's world would not have been possible without holding the hand of transportation and the innovations it has brought, Mobility, travel and economic activity depend on it. The burgeoning needs and emerging markets paved a way to new business; Logistics. Among this spectrum, BLR has always been in the forefront of embracing positive changes which have enabled it to give better customer service and get efficiencies in its operations. With a goal to establish a road transport business between his native place, Ludhiana, and the commercial capital of India, then called Bombay, Mr. L C Goyal laid the groundwork for a disruptor in the logistics sphere; Bombay Ludhiana Roadways (BLR) Logistiks (I) Ltd in 1968. He nurtured the firm with his sweat, determination and hard work day and night to see company scale greater heights.  What started with "one man- one office", grew to a sizeable legacy of about INR 2 crores and three offices by 1989. The satisfied clientele of Ludhiana and adjoining areas now approached BLR to meet their transportation requirements in other areas of the country as well.  BLR took this as an opportunity and slowly and steadily expanded its branch and service network. The company has now achieved a pan-India presence with 80+ offices all over the country and offers its services all across the country. Later in 2005, BLR Logistiks venture into other aspects of logistics apart from road transportation. A dedicated team was set up and other logistics services such as International Freight Forwarding, Warehousing and Distribution and project support logistics services were offered to clients. The company has now achieved a pan-India presence with 80+ offices all over the country and offers its services all across the country.
