U2opia Mobile, a global mobile technology player has partnered with Etisalat, one of the leading telecom operators in Nigeria to launch its sponsored data suite FonePass in the market.
 
FonePass is a holistic data solutions suite that offers a slew of products catering to enterprise and consumer needs. The partnership offers subscribers to find free data offerings on various and most popular ecommerce, online classified and taxi apps in the region.

Nigeria has an internet penetration of 46 percent with total subscribers reaching to 93.5 million as of August 2016, according to a report released by NCC.
