Airtel Payments Bank Launches 'Bharosa Savings Account'

Recently, Airtel Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel announced the launch of 'Bharosa Saving Account'. This account will allow customers to withdraw cash, check balance and access a mini-statement of the account at over 6,50,000 Aadhaar Enabled Payment System outlets in the country. Besides, one can also visit their nearest banking points and get their account open.

Important Points

• This plan is designed to serve the unbanked and underbanked people and empowering the financial inclusion in India.
• Apart from the conventional banking services, 'Bharosa Savings Account' would also offer Rs 5 lakh personal accident insurance.
• The account holders need to keep the minimum monthly balance of just Rs 500. And, they will get cashback if they decide to receive subsidies in their Bharosa savings account.
• The savings account from Airtel Payments Bank will allow the user to carry out just one debit transaction per month.
