Viren's expertise is rooted over a span of three and a half decades in leading engineering MNCs in India and abroad. Prior to joining Sigma, Virenwas Managing Director for Parker Hannif in in India and South Asia for 15 years and led it to a leadership position in the fluid power market.
His skills encompass growing new businesses from the ground up as well as managing rapid growth at large engineering MNCs.
In addition, he has extensive experience in M&A and is an enthusiast of Lean practices, balanced scorecard and talent development. He is currently Vice Chairman, CII Pune Zonal Council and is focused on promoting – Operational Excellence, Industry Academia interaction and SMEs. He was Chairman, CII Fluid Power Division.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate diploma in Management from Bombay University.
