Amitabh Bachchan who is known for his good height and heavy voice faced several rejections because of these two qualities. Moviemakers were rejecting him because of his long height as tall actors were not accepted during that time and he was also rejected by AIR (All India Radio) because of his heavy voice when he auditioned for a radio jockey.
He was completely broke and decided to quit, but right after this, he got his first-ever break in Bollywood from the movie Saat Hindustani for which he also won a national award. After the success of this movie, he struggled for two years to get a role in Anand and Zanjeer which changed his life completely.
No-one said that life will be easy. As he was climbing the ladders of success steadily, Big B met an accident on the sets of Coolie where everyone thought that this might be the end of Amitabh Bachchan.
But he is a born survivor as he recovered quickly and started working in movies again but, due to this accident he got a disease which makes the person feel low and weak and he is still fighting this disease. Since then he became the Shahenshah of Bollywood and one of the richest actor in India.
Well, this was not the end of his problems as he faced another downfall in his career at the age of 58. In early 2000 his movies were getting flopped and he was going through a financial crisis in which he lost most of his earnings. He was not getting movies anymore and all of his savings were already over.
After losing everything, he went to the house of his friend Yash Chopra and asked for a role in his upcoming movie called "Mohabbatein".
After this, he also received a call for hosting "Kaun Banega Crorepati" for which his wife Jaya Bachchan said that it will not be good for a silver screen star like Amitabh Bachchan to be the host on a TV show. Amitabh Bachchan replied to her by saying "beggars can't be choosers".
Amitabh Bachchan once quoted that "Bad luck can either destroys you or reveal the person you are". Due to his hard work and dedication toward his goal, he was able to raise above all the rejections and achieved great success.
He accepted his mistakes and his inabilities which helped him to keep on improving. In one of his interview, he told everyone that "it is important to accept and learn from your mistakes as it will make you a better person".
The lesson we all have to learn from the life of Amitabh Bachchan to achieve huge success in life is that we should not dwell on our past, always learn from it never run from it.
