Often put as the roadmap to your website, the XML sitemaps is how you get Google’s bots; to crawl every important page of your website. Mostly every page of the website especially when there are chances that your website’s pages end up; without any internal links pointing to them, making them hard to find.

Search Engines like Google, Bing, Yandex, and other Search Engines allow one to submit your sitemap to them. But Google is the top search engine cannot be ignored at any cost. Now, you must have heard #1 Rank on Google, when it comes to websites success; and for that this can be the very first step. It is a step where you allow Google to visit your website, go through the content. See if it has all the relevant keywords that a user may search for and then rank it.

ALEXA RANKING, WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Having mentioned various search engines, we cannot forget about various plug-ins that you can find to create your Google sitemaps. With these options, it becomes easy to create something that will allow search engines to understand your site structure.

Your WordPress website can benefit from Yoast Plug-in; that allows dynamic sitemap creation (your XML sitemap updates automatically) among many other benefits. It does that by combing all of the individual sitemaps into a sitemap index. And make one submit the sitemap index link which is automatically updated as one add, remove, or change your content.

While you can use other plug-ins as well, what you need is to have manual supervision of the sitemap. Once you find everything to be okay, you can submit your sitemap to google buy following these steps:

Visit and Sign into Google Search Console

Google is the preferred search engine by many as mentioned above; and for adding your website to Google Search Console, please follow these steps:

Search on Google “Google Search Console

For submitting your sitemap, login to your Google Search Console account.

Visit Index in the Sidebar and then choose the option of “Sitemaps”.

Now, if have already submitted your sitemap, you’ll see a list of “Submitted Sitemaps” on this page

You can go to “Add new sitemaps” field, and past the link of sitemaps generated by you which mostly looks like https://www.example.com/sitemap_index.xml

Add this sitemap and hit “Submit”

Going Through Google Search Console’s Submitted Sitemaps

Well, as soon as you will open the Submitted Sitemaps section, you will see “Sitemap index processed successfully” which means Google has successfully crawled your sitemap.

You can also click on the little bar chart icon to go to the Coverage Report for your sitemap, which is essentially a report to show you how many of URLs Google found in your sitemap and how many will get indexed.

Well, coverage report is indeed important as it takes you through the “valid” which are about to be indexed and “excluded” which will have a problem getting indexed. The Sitemap Report is indeed essential to spot errors and you can check it under “Submitted Sitemaps”.

“Valid” & “Excluded” Url In Google Sitemap Submission

Well, Of course, there are no issues with the valid pages, they will get indexed, it is the “excluded” pages that will not and it can be because of many issues that Google may have identified. If you find any “Excluded” pages and go through them to see what’s up.

One of the most common issue you will find is that URLs in your sitemap gets “Duplicate, submitted URL not selected as canonical” message. It is an error caused when two URLs on the website; look almost the same or your Robot.txt is the problem.

Make Sure Your Sitemap and “Robot.Txt” Match

Yes, you need to make sure that you are not using “noindex” tag on a page which stops the page from indexing and then submitting the same page on your sitemap. This will end up sending mixed messages to Google. Even though Googlebot lands on the page due to sitemap, it will get blocked.

We hope these tips are useful while you take upon the task of creating and submitting Sitemaps.

Business leaders and innovators in technology and internet services have been eyeing up the Indian market for years. Increasingly affordable ways to access the internet and the massive population of over 1.3 billion people make for a tantalizing audience to appeal to, with big-name companies already starting to ease their way into the subcontinent. With the online space constantly getting a larger Indian audience, new industries are emerging that weren’t present before, with one such industry being the online entertainment sector known as online casino, or iGaming.

Here, we’re going to explore what has given iGaming legs in India, what the industry covers, and why it has become so popular – allowing you to consider if you too should be exploring this area as an Indian entrepreneur.

The power of the smartphone for industry

Source: Unsplash

The smartphone has been perhaps one of the most disruptive technologies to the world of business over the last couple of decades. The devices offer a way for people not to just stay connected to each other on the go, but also stay connected to work and perform work functions via the internet. Of course, the internet isn’t just for facilitating work communications, with several industries like online casino setting up exclusively online to make the most of the widespread accessibility and convenience.

India’s population alone is enough to signal the nation as being a superpower in terms of mobile adoption and internet users. Now, however, with data costs dropping and mobile devices becoming more sought after, a massive audience of 820 million smartphone users is expected to have taken root in India by 2022. This furthers internet technology adoption rates shown last year, during which India had in excess of 450 million monthly active users. There’s a lot more to come, too, with major companies actively seeking ways to bring the internet to the rest of the 1.35 billion residents.

Major tech and online-based companies from around the world have been actively exploring ways of getting a stake in the ever-growing, but already massive, Indian online market, with Facebook and Amazon among them. Most recently, however, Google has invested $4.5 billion in Reliance Jio, with the two titans coming together to create an even more affordable smartphone to increase the mobile and internet user base of India further. With investment flying in to get more people online, as well as the fact that 65 percent of the population is under 35-years-old, internet-based industries and businesses can get very excited for what’s to come, as well as what’s already in place – which is why iGaming has already set-up shop.

India’s embrace of the online casino industry

Source: Unsplash

The online casino industry is a veteran of the European online space, with the first gambling website opening in 1994. The relatively newly-coined term ‘iGaming’ refers to just about all forms of regulated online gambling; from sports betting to casino gaming. With most of the biggest sites combining the two for a complete iGaming experience. Sports are, of course, massive in India, lending the sports betting side of the equation quite naturally to the audience. What might come as a surprise is that the casino gaming elements of online casino sites. With sports betting have also earned colossal audiences; with the most popular slots and games in India showing a diverse range of preferences.

Most probably because the entertainment options are relatively new to India, a nation without a widespread casino industry; the games that have become famous span a considerable range. Among the most popular games are slots, as would be expected by any observer from established markets. Themes play into slot popularity a fair bit, with the ancient Egypt-themed Book of Dead, the celestial Starburst, Aztec Luck, Norse mythology-based Odin Infinity Reels Megaways, and Book of Sheba showcasing India’s embrace of just about everything on offer. Several of these are also very popular in established markets, showing India’s ability to lock onto existing trends in the new space.

By combining popular sports betting with new options like slots and live casino games, the iGaming platform has become very popular in India. It has already exploded into the mainstream, but there’s even more to come in line with the rapid rate of smartphone adoption.

What To Look in Web Hosting Company?

Starting a new business online or reinventing yourself. A very important aspect of a website is its hosting, basically like a place for online store on the internet. And like any other business decision, you have a ton of options when it comes hosting service provider; to allocate the space on the web server for your website.

So, when you might ask yourself “What should I consider before selecting a hosting service provider?” for it to be the most economical, reliable and right allocation of resources. We have crafted a list of various factors to consider before choosing the best hosting service company; for your business website.

Here you go:

Understand the type of hosting you require for your business, a crucial factor before understanding what should a web hosting provider should offer.

Well, this is the primary thing, website hosting is the amount of space allocated on a server for your website. It can be a shared, dedicated, VPS and reseller; which is differentiated by the kind of technology used for the server. The level of management provided and the additional services on offer.

Just like various factors impact the success of your offline workspace, in the online world. Different type of website hosting impacts the website and user experience. The website represents your brand, for many businesses, it is also a platform to yield business leads and sales. Hence you need a good website hosting service provider to keep your website loading quickly and reliably for your visitors.

Shared Hosting:

As the name suggest, shared hosting is where you share a server with other websites. Where all domains share the same server resources, such as RAM (Random Access Memory) and CPU (Central Processing Unit).

Pros

  • Cheapest Option
  • Require no technical assistance
  • A great option available for an entry-level website hosting which many small business owners, community group, or people desire to start your blog.

Cons

  • Less security
  • Less control over the website

VPS hosting:

VPS or Virtual Private Server Hosting is an ultimate middle ground between a shared hosting and a dedicated hosting. VPS allows each website is hosted within its own space on the server, though it still shares a physical server with other users.

Pros

  • More scope for customization
  • More storage

Cons

  • Ability to handle the major high traffic spikes
  • The website can get affected by the other sites on the server.

Dedicated Server Hosting:

A dedicated hosting plan is a great option for the websites that expect high traffic and level of security as it allows website owners the most control over the server that their website is stored on because the server is exclusively rented by you and your website is the only one stored on it.

Pros

  • Full root and admin access
  • Control to everything from your operating system
  • Control over security

Cons

  • Expensive Option
  • A high level of technical expertise required

Cloud Hosting:

Cloud hosting, a web hosting which uses different servers to balance the load and maximum uptime while it means many computers working together, running applications using combined computing resources.

  • Pros
  • The hosting solution works via a network and enables companies to consume the computing resource like a utility.
  • It allows users to employ as many resources without doing capital investment on their computing infrastructure.
  • The resources that are being used are spread across several servers, reducing the chance of any downtime due to a server malfunction.

Cons

  • The cost of data recovery outweighs the benefits if you are not dependent on uptime and instant recovery.
  • If the internet connection is lost on the organisation side or cloud side, you won’t have access to any of your information.

Managed hosting:

You will find many hosting packages in your search for the one in the market to be managed one. Yes, a hosting provider managing your system and offering you with technical services such as hardware and software setup and configuration, maintenance, hardware replacement, technical support, patching, updating and monitoring.

Pros

  • The day-to-day management of the hardware, operating systems and standardised applications is taken care of by the provider.
  • It is one of the time-saving ways to have a website hosting.
  • You do not require a high level of technical skills.

Cons

  • The outsourcing limits you in terms of security.

Colocation:

A data centre facility in which a business can rent space for servers and other computing hardware. This co-located centre provides the power, bandwidth, IP address and cooling systems that your server requires in rented racks and cabinets.

Pros:

  • Access to higher levels of bandwidth than a normal office server room at a much lower cost.

Cons:

  • Technical skills will be required as you’re left to your own devices (literally) and will be expected to take care of everything including the hardware, software and services.

Which website hosting service provider is best for you?

Apart from the type of plan you think is best suited for your website and business, there are many website service providers to choose from as well as offering distinct plans. Each plan caters to the specifications of different groups and realizing what are your needs from a website will help you ensure that you’re choosing the right plan for you and your business. You should consider a website hosting service provider who:

Had a strong reputation in the industry: Look for reviews by actual customers, as you have already evaluated which type of hosting is best suited for your company type, you must go through the reviews by brands who are similar to your brand, like say a small business, or a e-commerce brand, etc.

They offer a variety of plans: different hosting packages with room to grow is essential especially if you have big dreams for your brand and you aim to grow. You may at some point want to upgrade to VPS hosting, cloud hosting and possible even a dedicated hosting, so make sure they have these plans.

Customer Service: For every brand online, it is essential that the website is available and efficient for users. In a scenario where you cannot risk disappointing the users with your website, a constant 24/7 customer service by the web hosting service provider should be a priority.

The right price: Even though the web hosting service provider industry is a competitive one, there are many brands which have gained the reputation and in search, make sure you compare prices of different plans by different providers to find a plan that is worth it.

A simple and intuitive account interface: Be it you or your technical team which is managing the hosting, an intuitive interface with all the web management tasks allows the domain name management, setting up redirects, managing your SSL, managing your domains= email addresses, adding new applications or databases to your website, etc.

Choose Your Web Host who offers you these services and of course some tutorials to get you started and security assurance won’t hurt. So, get started!

Define Success? For business leaders and entrepreneurs, it is accomplishing the desired results. It is no shocker today if I tell you today your brand’s success is interrelated with your web presence. Having said that, there are many tools you may use to ensure that; your prospective customers and present target audience become a loyal clientele. By forming that connect which websites are built for and to help you achieve; this desired result, Alexa ranking is essential.

WHAT IS ALEXA RANK?

Alexa rank is a website that enables you to understand every aspect of your website. It includes measuring your website’s popularity as well as if your which element website is allowing or not allowing users to stay on your website longer and yield essential information or buy your products and services.

HOW DOES ALEXA RANK WORK AND HOW IS ALEXA RANK CALCULATED?

The global platform that ranks millions of websites in order of popularity on bases of estimated average daily unique visitors and number of page views for a given the site over the past 3 months.

So, the focus is on ensuring a lower Alexa rank that represents a more popular website and here is the solution. We have curated content to help you understand how everything there is to know about the Alexa rank, how it is calculated and how to improve it.

Traffic and engagement are estimated from data provided by its toolbar. This monitors a user browsing behaviour which acts as a sample of all Internet users.

The company founded back in 1969 receives data for its ranking system based on traffic from its “global data panel”. You become a part of the panel and as one continues to visit websites as “visitors” and use one of the browser extensions available for Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc.

The Alexa ranking algorithm audits a site and calculates the frequency of visits. If the same user visits a website more than once on the same day, it is counted as a single visit.

Parameters used to measure a site’s ranking are unique daily visitors and average pageviews which is the number of times a particular page or URL is viewed by Alexa users.

ALL THE BUZZ AROUND THE ALEXA RANKING, IS IT EVEN ACCURATE?

Check the image below for a few pros and cons of Alexa Ranks

Although Alexa rank can be a good way to compare one website’s performance against another’s, Alexa’s statistics are not necessarily the most accurate. Well, Alexa has gained its wone reputation but it does have its pros and cons.

One of the biggest cons of the platform is that the ranking is the result of the users using; Alexa ranking browser extension and visiting websites. Hence f you go ahead and compare it with other platforms; say Google Analytics, you may find that Google has better accuracy. Because it has much wider coverage than Alexa, as not everyone will have the Alexa toolbar installed to track.

HOW CAN I CHECK A WEBSITE’S ALEXA RANKING?

Well, it is a simple process, just visit Alexa’s official rank checker, put the URL of the site you want to check and hit find.

This platform does have cons and limitations, it also holds the potential to attract higher quality guest writers wanting to contribute articles to higher ranked sites, allow you to analyse your competition, and also have an insight into the performance of your website.

Having mentioned that you can view where your brand stands, it is also essential to tell you how can you put Alexa Ranking to use:

START WORKING TOWARDS ALEXA RANK

While manipulation of the Alexa ranking is possible, it counts as a con. Hence, one should focus on improving the website’s Alexa rank without manipulating it. Here are some useful tips:

1 Optimize Your Website’s Meta Data

It is one of the cores of on-page SEO practices. You should focus on adding metadata i.e. TUD (page titles + meta descriptions) to your site so that Alexa (and Google) knows what your site is about.

2. Write Content For People

It is essential to understand what and whom are you writing for. Are they businessman, young people, old people, or engineers, they can be anyone, and then focus on the fact that you want to attract people to your website with high-quality content is great for numerous reasons.

3 Continue Delivering with Better Experience

While monitoring the Alexa rankings, focus on keeping your site updated with fresh content (that people want to read). It is important to improve engagement by producing useful content regularly.

4 Share Your Content on Social Media

Communication with the target audience cannot become more candid and direct today with the presence of social media being there. So, all that you have created for your website is a part of your online identity and you should promote it on relevant social media channels where your target audience hangs out.

Building a loyal clientele traditionally looked like decades of being in existence, generations buying and trusting the quality of your products and services and coming back to experience the same.

Having mentioned that, today, as digitalization has revolutionised the business ecosystem, loyal clientele can be equivalent to loyal website. Visitors for anyone with a website online, be it e-commerce brands or online service providers.

Well, the number of visitors matter and there is no doubt about that; so how to turn those cold visitors into loyal subscribers or even your customers. Here are some free tips for you to pull cold visitors into your web sales:

WHO IS COLD TRAFFIC?

Cold traffic is the segment of people who have no idea about your brand, products or services; and have never interacted with you before they click on your ads and end up your website. The answer to why they end up on your website is entirely based on being intrigued by the promotional posts.

This lack of awareness makes it hard for them to be converted into prospective sales as there is no justified loyalty or trust between the company and customers and they are unaware of what else your brand has got to offer. Hence you need to work with some specific strategy with these steps:

  • Ensuring they know more about your business, product, and offers,
  • Driving them towards your website,
  • Collecting their contact information by offering free newsletters,
  • Offering value-added information, products and services.

USING SOCIAL MEDIA TO MAKE COLD VISTORS MORE AWARE: It is indeed the best and most effective way to gain the trust of the visitors. You can post pictures, videos, stories updates, brand collaborations, tag celebrities and influencers on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and use different third-party sites such as YouTube for that matter so that the visitors come to know about your product and its benefits in the most natural way.

CHOOSE SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNEL: While choosing a social channel, it is better and high yielding to choose one that is compatible with mobile devices to increase your potential outreach because people can check the necessary information on the go.

OPTIMISE YOUR PAGE: Just make sure that you offer pages that are essentially mobile-optimized by showing them the benefits of the products, offering them with the best solutions, adding a few endorsements, adding a working link to your website.

TARGETING FUTURE VISITORS: Through social media, you can take care of location targeting if you choose specific countries that speak the same language to enable you to target more countries and a larger section of the social media users to increase traffic to your site.

TARGET THE RIGHT DEVICES: You need to target the right devices and browsers to turn your traffic into sales. For you to have a profitable business, higher traffic to your site is essential but you cannot be getting that if you only focus on desktop computers. You must necessarily use mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to get to a larger audience especially when several smartphone users and internet service providers are rising.

OPTIMISE YOUR WEBSITE: Having mentioned social media, we cannot forget to tell you that you should make sure that your webpage looks good both on a desktop computer as well as on a tablet or a mobile phone. Where the mobile SEO comes into and gain a high rank in the SERPs.

CREATE RELEVANT CONTENT: No marketing technique can help you build loyal clientele until and unless the quality of your information, products or services matches with the demand of the users. Here like most cliché but effective phrases, content is king, comes into the picture if you want to turn those cold visitors into loyal visitors for your blog, you must deliver relevant and consistent content.

TRACK YOUR VISITOR’S MOUSE MOVEMENTS: Well, if you have crossed the bridge of bounce rate and made the visitors stay on the website, it can be beneficial to track your visitors’ mouse and cursor movements to figure out what they find interesting on your platform. You can use this data and estimate which parts of your website are interesting and which lack exciting elements. These heatmaps show you click activity and help you move your visitors towards a conversion.

Well, these are indeed the basics of how you can warm up those cold visitors and make sure that they not only visit your website again but also become your clientele. Hope, these tips are useful for you. Do share with us your feedback.

Online businesses have various online marketing tool to connect with their audience, while email marketing, SMS marketing and many others have over the years proved to be effective. But with the rapid changes in the digital ecosystem and constant birth of the new technologies, today, web notifications have taken over. For users, it is a quick and efficient way to get all the recent information without having to open the website and read all the details.

This explains why web notifications is a powerful and effective tool especially for the e-commerce platforms to reach out to your website visitors, interact with them, keep them updated with any important information, announcing sales and offers, and eventually driving more eCommerce conversions.

For people who themselves use the e-commerce platforms to shop are very well aware of how they try to interact through push notifications. If you are not aware of what web push notifications are and how web notifications increase website visitors, we have created a brief and simple guide. Let’s get started:

WHAT EXACTLY ARE WEB PUSH NOTIFICATIONS?

Basically, as a brand, web push notifications or browser push notifications are exactly what you are looking for. These better “open and click-through rates” providing tool are messages or notifications that are delivered to the subscriber’s device in real-time even when the user is not present at your website but has his internet connection working.

The entirely permission-based engagement work to turn your website visitor into your subscriber and you are ready to send them notifications and make them a part of your eCommerce journey.

HOW WEB PUSH NOTIFICATIONS INCREASE WEBSITE VISITORS?

Here is how the web push notifications can add value to your online business immensely. We will discuss the 7 major benefits of using Web Push Notifications and understand why they are an important marketing aspect:

1. High Opt-in Rate

Unlike Pop-ups that demand users email address to send them newsletters or promotional offers, browser push notifications avoid asking for any customer-related information. All it requires is one single click to begin the process. And this is the reason why they have higher opt-in rate than emails.

In fact, the opt-out rate as well in browser push notifications is very minimal.

It also makes it easy for those visitors who hesitate to share their personal details online. This is often seen with new/first time visitors.

2. Real-time Quick Delivery

Web Push Notifications create instant communication with your subscribed audience. Any message or update gets delivered to the subscribers as soon as the information is initiated to be sent from the back-end. This gives you a high real-time reach.

So when you are planning to announce a flash sale, website push notifications can prove to be beneficial in that case.

3. Higher Engagement

Unlike Email or SMS where the URL to redirect the user to the desired location is mentioned inside the content, Web Push Notifications requires just one tap to take the user to the specified URL.

If you can entice your audience with your notification headline, you would surely receive higher engagement. Create triggering notifications that grab user attention and avoid using any click-bait headline.

4. Increase your Website traffic

One of the major benefits of Web Push Notifications is that it gives you a traffic boost. It works best if the message contains something worth the user attention. If it is tempting, you will witness a significant rise in website traffic. If you are running a limited-time sale, Browser Push Notifications can bring high real-time traffic.

5. Turn Visitors into Subscribers and Subscribers into Customers

Web Push Notifications prove to be one of the best ways to bring your subscribers into your store and encourage them to shop. It is the quickest way to grab user attention, unlike emails which sometimes can be skipped or left unopened.

It can be said that visitors who opt to receive notifications like you as a brand. They are impressed with your products or services and this is why they do not want to miss any future update from your end. These prospects will show more potential to purchase as compared to the other users.

6. Increase Conversions

You can ask users to subscribe to specific product-related notifications and notify them later if there is any update. For example, if the product that the user is looking for is out of stock or if they feel the product price is too high, you can ask them to subscribe for the alerts when the product is available again or when the price drops down, respectively.

The subscribers will be notified as soon as the changes reflect in the website regarding the product. Notification related to the fall in the product price or the product back-in-stock creates higher chances of conversion.

So basically you can retarget the users and persuade them to purchase the product which they desired earlier.

With web push notifications, you do not need a mobile app to reach out to your subscribers. Moreover, building a mobile app can cost you huge bucks so this cuts down your cost to have a mobile app and provides you with a similar way to communicate with your audience like App push notifications.

The Bottom Line

Web Browser Push Notification is undoubtedly an effective marketing communication channel and what sets this apart from other marketing methods is that it is not restricted to marketing and promotional purpose only. It can be used to deliver useful information, abandoned cart alerts, order status updates, product back-in-stock alerts, etc.

WHAT IS WEB NOTIFICATION?

Ting, “Don’t Miss Out These Trendy Products” or “Enjoy 50% On Your Favourite Coffee”. Every smartphone knows what these are. Yes, these are web notifications most commonly used by many successful e-commerce brands around the globe.

Well, modern problems required modern solutions. While today, a brand’s success is related to the website’s success, web notifications are the effective tool for website promotion backed with its ability to deliver instant, brief, and personalised information to prospective customers.

Web notifications are the alert messages sent to a user via desktop web and mobile web and used by websites that want to update the users about the recent updates, be it news or cart update. I am sure as a consumer you must have pulled down the notification bar on your mobile phones or seen the alerts slide in at the top or bottom right-hand corner of a desktop screen, depending on the operating system and even clicked on them, ending up on the website or webpage.

We have curated a guide for you to know about the most effective information delivery and action generating tool, web push notification:

Are web push notifications and app push notifications different?

Well, as we have discussed, many brands which do not have a mobile application but have a website with web push code installed in it, use it to leverage many of the benefits of push notifications (real-time, personalized, in-the-moment communications) to offer the same user experience even if they don’t have an app.

While the app push notifications are sent via code installed in an app even if you are not on the application or not even operating your phone but your internet connection is on.

WHAT DOES A WEB NOTIFICATION LOOK LIKE?

A web push notification that might pop up on your mobile screen or your desktop may include the following elements:

Notification Title: This title can be inclusive of the brand name or the recent update say ‘Summer Fashion Sale’.

Notification Content: The message sent by the website includes a brief about the topic mentioned in the notification title while the character count may vary between browsers, a crisp and captivating message should be crafted to get the user to click.

Notification URL: While it is not a dominant part of the whole notification, it does highlight the domain sending the web notification.

Notification Icon: This is mostly the brand logo or any image related to the message.

Browser Icon: The logo of the browser sending the notification. While generally browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer are focused displayed in the browser icon, this is included on notifications sent to Apple desktop or laptop computers and cannot be altered or removed.

Working Of Web Notifications

The elements of a web push notification remain the same while its appearance varies by operating system and browser and they work the same as well. Having said that, let us go through the working of the web notifications.

The browser-based notification has different stages crucial to understand how web push notifications work. These stages of the web push notifications are as follows:

Seeking Permission: Well, you must have been the pop-up asking for permission to come on your mobile or desktop screens while operating the websites as users. This pop is the first step in implementing a push notification while it requires sending them with a push message and getting a push subscription from the browser through Subscription Dialog Box or Opt-in box.

A Push Subscription is done with a Push API that gives web applications the ability to receive messages pushed to them from a server and they become a ‘subscriber’. Once Push Subscription is received, the user details are saved at the back-end and are later used to send push messages to that user.

Sending a Push Message: You can open the dashboard or you can use an API call to a respective browser cloud manager to send notifications. While the cloud manager validates and delivers the message to the right browser, Push Subscription helps you get the appropriate URL to trigger the push message.

Push Message arrives on the User’s browser: Once the browser comes online, the push service delivers the message. This is followed by the browser receives the message, decrypts the data, and sends push event to your service worker. The customized website notification will arrive real-time even if the browser is not open at that point of time on the user’s device and it will lead them to URL specified.

Adding Web Notifications To Websites

Well, there are many providers offering web push notification service for your website, a standard procedure of these providers have is signing up, adding your website URL, your brand logo for your customised subscription request, adding generated code for your website which you have to add and then you can start monitoring users and creating campaigns as well.
