A unique travel portal, UdChalo caters for the personal travel of the military and paramilitary forces personnel by aggregating defence fares and get exclusive discounts.
It is a great initiative started in a bid to make wounded soldiers, who are now confined to wheelchairs self-reliant. It took off at the Army's Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre in Punjab's Mohali. In this article, we will talk more about "UdChalo App", A Unique Travel Portal.
UdChalo is a brand of UpCurve Business Services Private Limited, an Online Travel portal for Defense personnel, was founded in the year 2012 by Ravi Kumar and Varun Jain.
From inception, the vision of this platform was to make life simpler for the soldier, and they stand true to their motto Service for Services.
It is registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and approved by IATA.
It operates in the areas of travel for Defense personnel through the website www.udchalo.com, App platform and 60 plus offline ticket booking offices catering to over 2.8 million serving Defense Personnel, Veterans and their Dependents.
UdChalo's booking offices are operated by Veterans/Veer Naris/ Dependents from the Indian Forces community.
Over the last few years, UdChalo partnered with major airlines including Air Asia, Indigo Airlines, Vistara, and Go Air to provide special fares to the Indian Armed Forces Community.
The company has added many additional services to its portfolio and gone beyond flights to include much amazing defence offers to their customers with their hotel chain partners, bus services, taxi services, and international air travel routes, hence offering an integrated travel service offering.
The company has been awarded the Best Employment Generating MSE in the Small-Services segment by SIDBI Economic Times India MSE Awards 2019 Entrepreneurs India Award for the Travel Startup of the Year 2019 and also has been recognized by Silicon India as one of the Top 10 Online Travel Agency Exclusive fares for the Indian Armed Forces, Ex-servicemen, Paramilitary forces, and their Dependents.

Choose Indian Armed Force you belong to
Serving/Retired Army/Navy/AirForce personnel and dependents, now enter your/spouse/father's Service number in the format 12345A in the service number text box
Other Armed Forces, Upload scan copy of any one of ECHS/SSB Candidates- Upload your SSB call letter.
Army/Navy/Air Force personnel and dependents, check discounted flights and fares instantly
SSB/Paramilitary personnel check your mail for a booking link. Click on the link in the email to see the best-discounted flights
Now, choose your flight, fill passenger information and give your billing details
Make a payment.
After the payment is done successfully, your tickets are booked and you will be restricted to the confirmation page. A copy of your tickets will also be mailed to you once your booking is done.
Also, make sure to take a print copy of the ticket and carry it to the airport.
Note: Tickets issued under UdChalo flight deals are not refundable and amendable as per the guidelines.
