The world is changing rapidly in the terms of technologies. Now-a-days cellular phone has become an essential part of life for the most of people. However it was not easy to see mobile phones in most of houses.

In very beginning only very few people were using this gadget as compare to current scenario. The causes were vary behind not having mobile phone in most of hands.

Probably the main causes were being expensive, awareness, low network connectivity and many more. Later Reliance Cellular took onus to bring revolution in telecom industry and decided to offer mobile phones at very low cost Rs. 5oo only and it was for every one.

The motive of this initiative was to have at least one mobile phone in each house in India. Finally it was seen the success of Reliance Cellular wherein many weaker sections of people started carring mobile phones.

To solve this issue, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) was founded by the richest person of India Mr. Mukesh Ambani. RJIL is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries limited (RIL), India's largest private sector company.

Reliance Jio is the first telecom operator to hold pan India Unified License. This license authorises RJIL to provide all telecommunication services except Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite Service.
