Cutting bread out of your diet will be difficult at first, but worth it in the long run. As for carbs, they do have some nutritional value and use for your day to day diet. For example, if your an avid fitness person who exercises every day, then carbs will serve as fuel to your fire, helping you work out more. That’s why you want to limit the amount of carbs you take in, and also have them at certain times throughout the day. Try having carbs before you work out or go to the gym. Or limit the times you have carbs to once a week.
