The CEO: Pradeep, how are you empowering your clientele with value-added services?

Pradeep: At Neil Patel Digital, our unique strength is the international presence we have and the collective playbook of strategies that we've built over the years. Our teams in the US, India, Brazil, and Australia have worked with companies of all scales and sizes across sectors.

We encourage knowledge sharing and best practices across our international offices with our recent initiative of NP 360, a global agency event where we shared learnings and case studies across international offices.

Our digital strategy has been honed, tested, and perfected across the globe in different markets offering us an edge, especially while working with brands looking to fuel their next stage of growth and international expansion.

The CEO: What are the challenges that you overcome today in the industry?

Pradeep: A major challenge in the digital marketing industry is client churn. Clients usually fall prey to upstart agencies making and undercutting their tall promises and offering lowest pricing.

They usually end up spending their entire marketing budget with little to no results to show due to unoptimized campaigns, poor copy and creative, lack of A/B testing and shoddy reporting.

In such cases, we spend the first few meetings with the clients educating them about the services, expectations, results they can expect and digital methodologies we employ to foster trust and transparency.

The CEO: As a leader in a dynamic industry, how do you approach change?

Pradeep: One of the biggest factors in navigating your firm for change is to be flexible and open to ideas, even if it goes against what you know. I have a robust belief that one should not focus on pitching the service they are comfortable with to most of the clients, but on understanding what benefits the client best.

We are focussed on building and scaling our team with top-notch talent for every domain so that our clients are not handicapped by what we know, the entire arsenal of digital marketing is open to our clients to experiment and pick what works for them.

The CEO: How are you building future leaders in your company?

Pradeep: The biggest factor in building leaders within our company is to give people a sense of security and safety. We ensure that they are well-aware of the fact that they will not be judged for experimenting with something new or voicing their opinion.

When people don't need to think twice about how they'll be perceived, they can spend their mental bandwidth on performance and thinking of innovative new strategies. We encourage our team to think beyond their KPIs and give them the freedom to work across departments and pick-up new skills.

The CEO: What are the core values of the Neil Patel Digital India team?

Pradeep: We're looking for people who see marketing as a calling and not just a job. Our culture is built on decades of integrity, mutual respect, curiosity and hunger. We're a tightly-knit team with a vision of putting India on the map as a destination for marketing excellence.

We believe people are at their best when happy, unstressed yet are constantly challenged. We have fun on the job and encourage experimentation.

The CEO: Neil Patel Digital India is a highly recognized name. What are the recent feathers in the cap?

Pradeep: We do not believe in resting on our laurels. The digital arena requires constant innovation otherwise you are falling behind. Having said that, we are growing at breakneck speed and despite the pandemic, we've hit 100+ retainer clients and counting.

We achieved manifold growth in traffic & conversions for many of our long-term clients in healthcare, e-commerce, mental health, e-learning, and other niches. We have reached #1 rankings on Google for some highly competitive keywords for these clients.

The CEO: What would you like to change in the digital marketing industry today?

Pradeep: The key issue, currently plaguing the digital marketing industry in India, is that the majority of it views "digital" as siloed and separate from the traditional sales funnel. These brands do not travel the extra mile to integrate digital entirely into an organization's DNA despite marketing increasing impressions and views.

At Neil Patel Digital India, we are shrinking the traditional gap between the marketing and sales teams.

We're using powerful tools such as AI-powered chatbots and complex automation platforms built over CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce to create a quality sales funnel for our clients. We are targeting beyond traditional reach metrics and focusing on conversions, the new norm.

The CEO: What do you hope to achieve next in your position?

Pradeep: While we aim to reach 200+ recurring clients by the end of 2021, we aim to achieve more than a set number of clients and ensure their best possible ROI on their marketing spend.

Pacing in the same direction of increased client satisfaction index, we're offering specialised advisory services with our SEOs, content strategists, performance marketers, brand strategists and conversion specialists.

Our clients benefit from the breadth of expertise we have in-house, irrespective of the number of selected services like SEO or paid marketing. This holistic approach towards marketing drives us to align our team to create a customized marketing roadmap maximizing growth potential.

The CEO: Do you believe in giving back to society, if yes, how?

Pradeep: We can give back to society in a lot of different ways. One way is to find young talents and offer them the right pathway along with skills to find their innate talents. That is where our real sense of contribution comes from.

Pradeep wrapped up the interview with the message, "Life is all about having the best relationships and engagement."
