New Delhi: Prof (Dr) Mahul Brahma, a Crisis Communications commentator, gets national-level recognition at International Brilliance Award (IBA) 2021 for contribution in this domain through his work as well as writings, which include his columns and latest book ‘How to Communicate Strategically in Corporate World’.
In his book he has decoded the current Covid crisis showing the way how strategically communication can be used to build a brand.
He is a TEDx Speaker on the Mythic Value of Luxury.
Dr Brahma is currently Professor of Crisis Communications and Dean – School of Media and Communications at Adamas University.
Prior to this, he was heading corporate communications, branding, CSR and publications for a Tata group company mjunction for almost a decade. His last held position as a journalist was Chief Editor and has worked with leading publications for a decade.
He has authored five books which include the luxe trilogy – Decoding Luxe, Dark Luxe and Luxe Inferno. He has recently won Author of the Year Award at IGA 2021. His books have been endorsed by Mr Ratan Tata and Mr Amitabh Bachchan.
Dr Brahma has been a prominent commentator of crisis communications and has taken regular sessions as guest lecturer at premier B-Schools and engineering institutes such as IIMs and IITs, among others.
He has written several articles and columns in journals and leading publications on crisis communications and brand building during a crisis like Covid.
He is a D.Litt in Communication and Luxury and a PhD in Economics. He is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, MICA, St Xavier’s College, SSSUTMS, University of Cambridge Judge Business School, and University of Calcutta.
He has been winner of CSR Leader of the Year Award in 2019, Best Communication Strategist of the Year Award in 2019, Brand Leadership Award in 2017, Ecommerce Communication Leader of the Year Award in 2017, and Young Achiever Award in National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Communications 2016.
He is an actor and his short film was screened at Cannes Film Festival. He loves to paint and play golf.
