Aegis is leading institute offering higher education in the field of exponential technologies like Data Science, AI, cyber Security, blockchain etc. based out of Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. Aegis was founded in the year 2002 with support from Bharti Airtel to develop cross functional technology leaders with India's first Post Graduate program in Telecom Management. Looking at the success of Industry academia partnership, in 2015 Aegis collaborated with IBM to launch India's first Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Data Science, Business Analytics and Big Data. Subsequently launched PGP in Cyber Security, PGP in Applied AI, PGP in Blockchain and PGP Full Stack Development. These programs are jointly certified and delivered by Aegis in association with IBM. Aegis also has collaboration with NVIDA DLI for developing skill for applied AI and Deep Learning in India. Aegis partnered with AWS Educate for providing access to students' world class content and cloud resources to students and faculties. Aegis takes up various industry projects, research and consulting assignments in the field of data science under its initiative known as Data Science Delivered and Data Science for social good. Aegis is helping academic institutes, organizations and Governments for setting up center of excellence for devolving skills for various disruptive technologies like data science, AI, Machine learning, Deep Learning, Big Data, Analytics, Block Chain and Cyber Security etc.
In 2017 Aegis launched Data Science Congress to create a platform where different stakeholders including policy makers, industry, experts, data scientist, CIO, decision makers can share their knowledge, best practices, innovations, products, uses cases etc.

Data Science for Social Good: Khozo – Let's find missing Child
Aegis Data Science wing has stepped up with an initiative to work on different projects which will solve the different problems faced by society. Today in India almost 100K children go missing. To overcome this problem Aegis Research faculties and students have initiated a project called "Khozo- Let's find the missing child". This project was launched in Goa with the support of Govt of Goa. This project which works on different technologies like Machine Learning, Deep learning etc. will try to solve the problem of missing child. Aegis believes in training the future generation in those technologies which are exponentially growing. Helping people in training such technologies will help the country in two ways.
