These hot summer days necessitate some refreshing drinks and nothing has the power to put you in the summer mood faster than sipping on a brightly collared, fruity flavoured drink. But if you’re worried that cutting back on booze to present a family-friendly alternative means resorting to boring beverages, these healthy summer drink recipes will change your point of view.  The whole family can cool off on the summertime with some flavours drinks like Cucumber-Mint Detox Water, Ginger-Litchi Lemonade and more.

Aam Panna

When it comes to summer drinks, no other option is as suitable as Aam Panna. It is best in taste and also keeps the body cool in hot days.

Process: pressure cook the raw mango, now peel off the skin and remove the pulp in a blender, add sugar, jaggery, saffron, cardamom powder, and salt. Blend well and store it in an airtight container in the fridge.

Make Panna anytime, just take two tbsp of the aam panna mixture to add 250ml of chilled water and blend well.

Ingredients:  ‏Raw Mango, ‏Sugar, ‏Jaggery, ‏Saffron, Cardamom powder, ‏Salt

Slow Melt Arnold Palmer

This drink is an amazing way to cool off in the sunny season. Prepare it by following some easy steps and enjoy the drink.

Process: place one raspberry in each square of a two ice cube tray, and fill the left square with lemonade and freeze it. While serving, place 4 or more of these ice cubes in each glass filled with iced tea.

Ingredients: Raspberries, Lemonade, Chilled brewed black iced tea

Ginger-Litchi Lemonade

Litchis are known to be effective in the formation of blood cells, reducing sunburns and increasing hair growth. Try juice made of litchi, and keep yourself away from summer disease easily.

Process: mix some minced ginger, litchi juice and lemon juice to a jar and blend it properly. Use some mint leaves for garnishing and consume chilled.

Ingredients: Litchi, Mint, Ginger, Lemon Juice

Watermelon Juice

Watermelon is naturally sweet and contains mostly water. It is one of the best solutions to stay hydrated during summer days.

Process: place the cubed and seeded watermelon flesh in a blender with the fresh herb leaves and blend them well. Pour the juice into a glass over ice

Ingredients: Watermelon flesh, Mint leaves, Ice

Cucumber-Mint Detox Water

This drink is the perfect option to get something in fine fettle drink with taste. Cucumber and mint hold multifarious health benefits and are acclaimed for their anti-inflammatory properties while lemon provides a shot of Vitamin C.

Process: mix cucumber (sliced), lemons, and mint leaves in water. Then, store it in the fridge overnight and drink it the next morning.
