DM group: Pushing the boundaries of Facility Management and unleashing new opportunities in the service and infra industry.

Facilities management refers to the processes used to maintain and manage the facilities used by an organization during the day to day running’s of the business.  Over the last few years more businesses have been starting to realize just how important effective facilities management can be for their profit margins. Facilities management teams are made up of professionals qualified in monitoring, maintaining, analysing, repairing, and maintaining all facilities used to build and run a business including buildings such as warehouses and office blocks, staff, and human resources.

A facilities management team should also be active in devising and adjusting facilities management strategies to improve cost cutting and increase employee productivity. A growing organization attracts a burgeoning list of resources to manage, including extra staff, HR, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment. The management team not only need to maintain the facilities, they also need to ensure all areas are compliant with health and safety regulations. Few of the responsibilities a facilities management team focuses on to ensure smooth business operations are Risk assessment, Waste management and disposal, Access for disabled employees and members of the public, ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, Strategic planning, Controlling the distribution and use of hazardous substances Facilities management allows a business to keep their finger on the pulse and properly co-ordinate timely maintenance of assets to ensure longer usability and reduce the total cost of ownership.

A business lacking the ability to effectively manage its facilities risks falling out of regulatory compliance, and may also find itself facing expensive repair bills, rather than relatively minor maintenance costs. There is also the danger mismanaged equipment can pose to both employees and the public. The facilities management team is an essential component of any business which can help improve cash flow and reduce waste. Small businesses lacking the resources to have a team on staff will find many affordable options

DM Group was founded in 2001 by Mr. Dhanajay Patil and Mr. Mahesh Patil with a vision to be a pioneer in quality facility management services. The company is growing with turnover of around 500 million. The experience of providing various facilities which Mr Dhananjay and Mr Mahesh brought helped the group to settle in the field of Facilities in a short period of time.  Further the experience of Mr Uday Kalgutkar, the CEO and Director of the Group helped DM Group integrate into the workforce through professionalism and discipline. This helped DM Group to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and harmonious customer relationships. DM group squashes issues such as corporate maintenance needs, unauthentic workers and improper manpower planning by presenting a single window system for all maintenance related labour that enables it to deliver fast yet cost-effective solutions. DM group boasts of a prestigious manpower base of 3000+ well-trained employees who thoroughly manage each service efficiently with precision and whole-heartedness. It not only provides manpower for a wide range of housekeeping services but also office & pantry boys, electricians and plumbers for corporate office maintenance as well and skilled and unskilled labours for various types of works.

The consistent issue of high absenteeism among the un-skilled labour is the main lacunae in the Facility Industry. Covering this by allocating 10 % of its staff as a back-up base covering up for the absentees, thus assuring a 100 per cent attendance. The gamut of its services to corporate offices extends to deploying manpower with the highest ethical standards for housekeeping, office boys, pantry boys, security, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and canteen/patient diet services. Aside from these services, it is actively involved in undertaking various schools & residential projects and also deploying vehicle mounted machines for road cleaning. Connecting 450 villages of Maharashtra via optical fibre broadband network under the Digital India project and winning the contract for maintenance of fibre optic/copper cable for MTNL in the whole of Mumbai speaks volumes about its undying research in the fibre optics spectrum.   Construction and maintenance of Roads and Beautification of roads has been the latest vertical which has added value to the group’s aim of excelling in civil works contracts.
