HTL’s provenance branched out from the intention, vision and impulsion of one man, Mr Lavinder Duggal. A hands-on business leader armed with the standards of excellence, Mr Duggal is a home to result oriented, enthusiastic and decisive management persona who holds proven success in effectively strategizing and implementing projects. A BE in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Engineering College, Jabalpur, Mr Duggal nestles 25 years of experience in the air-conditioning domain where he has been an instrumental part of many prestigious brands’ core team.

The inception of the leader

What does it take to start up? A brilliant idea?  A great team? Money? Well, all of it. But more than anything that is taken is the belief and passion and this concoction has driven HTL Aircon from a plain conviction to deploying HVAC prowess through its services with a distinct vision and unparalleled approach towards handling customer experience. During his professional stint with top brands such as Batliboi& Voltas, Mr Duggal scrutinized how his marketing capabilities and sales expertise can help him build his own empire. This plunge was enough for him to make his entrance into the entrepreneurial world. Tapping the open market was daunting for an engineer but he had to find his way. Fortune smiled early on HTL Aircon when copious international companies entered the Indian market to sell air conditioners for offices and homes. Finding a spot for itself, HTL Aircon collaborated with Carrier Corporation and the rest is history.

Moving ahead towards unmatched heights, in 2006 HTL signed a successful dealership agreement with the Japanese giant Daikin Ac in India. Counted among one of the top dealers of DAIKIN India, HTL enjoys added advantage of the brand. Industrial air conditioning’s growth fuelled by new initiatives like “Make in India” and “Smart City” has lured huge potential for market leaders like HTL.

Today, HTL has created a benchmark while spearheading its illustrious journey within the HVAC Industry. HTL’s mettle has had been acknowledged nationwide over these years. The organization stood as the winner on the fourth Edition of India SME 100 awards amongst 41832 nominations filed by SMEs from all over the country. It provides HVAC project delivery services, post-sales services, consulting solutions, retrofits, and VRV & chilled water solutions for all applications.  HTL proceeds with the objective of constant quality improvement. It aims at reducing attrition by providing better employee-centric and retention programs. Focused on providing services to every nook n corner of the country, the organization has spread its branches in Navi Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi& Ahmedabad In the financial year 2017-18, the company has grown by 60% which signifies tremendous potential of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air conditioning) market in India. The further plans of the organization enlist diversifying into Electrical and Plumbing, Fire Fighting systems space and graduate to an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Contractor. Adding more feathers to its hat, HTL Aircon has successfully crossed the mark of 100 Cr in FY 2018, which is a major milestone in its journey to touch the mark of 500 Cr. In the current FY, it is planning to cross the annual turnover of 150 cr. The organization is also planning to cater services for Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting installations.

To conquer the international boundaries with its expertise, HTL Aircon will be opening its Dubai, Kenya and Sri Lanka offices in the current financial year. With the opening of Dubai, Nairobi and Colombo branch, HTL will enter into the Multinational wing, which will raise the international revenue share. Mr Ashok Nayak is an MBA from Somaiya College, Mumbai with a vast experience in air conditioning industry of over 21 years wherein he has been associated with companies like LG, Carrier & Godrej. His valuable contribution of over a decade has been instrumental to HTL Aircon’s fruitful journey.
