9th Annual Convocation at GLBIMR 

GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Greater Noida organized its 9^th Annual Convocation for PGDM Batch 2016-18 on Friday, June 01, 2018, in which 135 students were awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The glittering award ceremony commenced with chanting of auspicious sholkas of Devi Saraswati Vandana in the presence of the Chief Guest of the Ceremony, Shri Pankaj Singh, MLA, Noida & General Secretary – Uttar Pradesh for  BJP,Distinguished Guest, Shri Tejpal Singh Nagar, MLA, Dadri constituency,  Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice-Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions and Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR.

Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman, GL Bajaj Educational Institutions extended a warm welcome to the eminent guests. He highlighted the importance of value based education and work ethics in a cut-throat corporate setting.  Sharing the Annual Report of the Institute, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR, highlighted the excellent placements of PGDM Batch 2016-18 and briefed about the outstanding academic progress, collaborative research and the achievements & awards of the Institute. The Convocation Address was delivered by Chief Guest Shri Pankaj Singh, Member of Legislative Assembly, Noida & General Secretary –UP,BJP. The audience was enthralled by his arousing speech. He congratulated the rank holders & the graduating students and motivated the young managers to emerge as future corporate leaders and contribute actively towards nation building.

In the Convocation, meritorious students were awarded with medals for academic excellence. The medalists from PGDM 2016-18 Batch were: Kanika Singh – Gold medalist, Diksha Shukla – Silver Medalist and Sangeeta Yadav – Bronze Medalist. Along with the prestigious medals, students were awarded with cash prize of Rs 15000, 10000 & 5000, respectively. Devendra Prasad Yadav, Kanika Singh and Subhodeep Chakraborty were awarded as Specialization Toppers in Marketing, Human Resource & Finance respectively. Top Ten Meritorious students of PGDM Batch of PGDM 2016-18 and 2017-19 were awarded Special Merit Certificates for their outstanding performance. During the scintillating ceremony, GLBIMR launched its Media Coverage Book, "Weaving a Tale of Success: Reflections of Media Coverage of GLBIMR" which showcases the extensive media coverage of the achievements of GLBIMR in the recent years. The gala event witnessed participation of more than 400 students, parents and eminent guests from the media, corporate and academia.
