Take us to the successful voyage of Genitek so far.
It has been a roller coaster ride indeed! Going back in 2005, we started serving our customers with the latest /generation Internet Technology solutions with IT consulting services. The beginning was channelized by catering solutions to reinvent business across a wide range of industries and functions in India and Abroad. We have evolved over the years and in 2010 we created an umbrella of web-based social media and search engine optimization tools that provides clients with new ways to impact their bottom line. Over the following years, our portfolio grew to encompass more than half a dozen solutions, including Analytics, Cloud Solutions, Web Technology and Branding. We started making turnarounds for our clients” businesses after we started implementing our 4 pillar framework methodology from 2014. Basically, we consider ourselves a SMAC service provider guaranteeing our customer’s business growth, establish and implement the pathway to do so. The lessons that we only learned by experience, no books or courses could do justice to help steer the decisions we have to make when we’re smack right in the middle of it. However, the most interesting part enjoyed the journey thoroughly as what we were doing was completely our choice.
Over the years Genitek has created a spot for itself in the heart of businesses. What makes its position concrete in the business spectrum?
We at Genitek set aspirational targets as “we are open to doing things differently”, which was not considered in the past. Our fresh, innovative solutions are designed to grow our client’s customer base and optimize ROI. They don’t need to struggle to determine which existing ideas to support and scale. We continually seek new and better ways to serve our clients and aim to anticipate their future needs. We believe we will be successful if our clients are successful. We are sensitive to client’s needs and adhere to the highest professional standards.
How successful is Genitek in delivering promises to its clients?
Understanding our customers’ needs has led us to better insight into our audience and allows us to develop services that are matched to our clients’ demand. The company follows a multi-pronged distribution model for an enhanced outreach. The most important thing is the success and growth of our clients. Our business’ success depends on the clients’ growth.

How many employees are working here at Genitek? What kind of culture exists in the company?
We have a small and powerful team as of now, expanding. We are a value-driven organization and our values have been updated in small ways to reflect the changing time. We are sensitive to client’s needs and adhere to the highest professional standards. One simple thing we believe is “Integrity” and we mean it. Over the last years, we have been attending multiple self-development programs which helped us steering the company in the right direction. Technically we update ourselves regularly reading multiple magazines, journals and upgrade ourselves with the latest technologies and closely watch the market trend as well.
Taking the conversation towards a personal posture how has been your journey as an entrepreneur? What was the most difficult lesson you have learned as an entrepreneur?
I think the toughest lesson for me has been when to let go of something that isn’t working and also how to handle the cash!!
How do you see the company changing in one year? What’s the next big thing planned for Genitek?
Vision and execution were the two ingredients we had when we embarked on the journey to build our company 12 years ago. It’s been challenging and the most difficult part was a strong financial back-up which we lacked for quite a long time. We believe in keeping us up-to-date with respect to technology, customer’s expectations, market scenario etc. We are actively carrying outdoing marketing activities to make our presence felt by many business houses, setting up multiple offices in almost all major cities in India to cater to the SMEs in those areas and giving breakthrough results to them. We envision reaching the target of Rs. 10 Crore + revenue by next financial year. Our biggest dream is to solve the biggest problems in business and we impacting 1 million business houses directly or indirectly. We need to be recognized as ‘THE’ organization that takes care of SMEs and we are always there whenever they need us.
