Lodha UK, a UK development subsidiary of Lodha Group, recently announced the launch of an iconic new residential development- No.1 Grosvenor Square at Mayfair, London. Set in the heart of London's West End, the project benefits from an exceptional location, close to an array of shopping streets including Bond Street and Mount Street, Michelin-starred restaurants and 5* hotels such as Claridges and The Connaught. Forming part of the Duke of Westminster's London estate, Grosvenor Square is the centrepiece of Mayfair and has been home to numerous members of the aristocracy and heads of state.
No.1 Grosvenor Square is a short distance from some of Mayfair's finest establishments including 18 Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Gavroche, Pollen Street Social and Gymkhana. Moments from the development is Mount Street, a leading luxury retail destination with premium flagship stores including Celine, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta as well as iconic Scott's restaurant and The Connaught hotel.

As part of its passion for Mayfair and its luxury boutiques, Lodha UK and No.1 Grosvenor Square have collaborated with international auction house – Sotheby's to create a unique destination for Sotheby's private clients. Both united in their passion for timeless elegance and luxury, Sotheby's is renowned for its expertise and offers the very finest art and collectibles across a diverse range of collecting categories, while art and design underpin every element of the Lodha family business: from collaborating with high-end international designers to creating the finest residences across the world.
Eric Parry Architects, an award-winning global architecture consultancy, was appointed by Lodha UK to carefully deconstruct and recreate a stunning development synonymous with the neighbourhood's heritage buildings. The neo-Georgian façade will be rebuilt brick-by-brick with improved ceiling heights between 3.1m and 4.2m – one of the highest of any new build residential development in London.
Yabu Pushelburg, the international design firm, has been appointed to create the interiors at No.1 Grosvenor Square. The studio has partnered with world leaders in retail and hospitality, including Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong, Bergdorf Goodman in New York and the London Edition hotel. The appointment represents Yabu Pushelburg's first residential project in London and further details on the interiors will be announced later this year.
Lodha UK purchased the site in 2014 and the project is due for completion in Q4 2019. Savills and Knight Frank are the appointed sales agents.
