On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Concorde Group gathered at Napa Valley, Kanakapura Main Road on 4th June 2017, to take the pledge to save our planet. The imperative is on us to save the environment in our individual capacity, yet be part of a collective that is willing to make the effort to leave a conducive environment for future generations.
The chief guest for the ceremony was Saalumarada Thimmakka, 105 years old and going strong. Having planted over 1 Lakh trees across Karnataka for more than 80 years and recognised as a National Citizen, she was honoured by BBC as one of the most inspirational women in the world in 2016. Saalumarada Thimmakka is a true force of nature and an inspiration to anyone who thinks that they alone cannot save our planet. She has shown that every sapling planted makes a big difference.
The villas at Napa Valley are set amidst 110 acres of outdoors, a rare occurrence in present day Bangalore. Here, residents experience the joy of living in a lush green landscape with 14 parks, from which they can escape the inescapable barrage of sounds and simulations one is normally submitted to in the concrete confines of the city.
The Concorde Group has delivered homes of exceptional quality and future value, over 18 million sq. ft. since 1998. We continue to strive to secure a bright future for our planet. Join us by taking the pledge to plant more trees and be an ambassador for our planet, at Napa Valley this World Environment Day.
