How does the BETT Model work?

The model offers complete solution to the typical challenges of an owner managed organization that is scaling up and struggling to professionalize in all areas of operation and yet wants to keep it’s core business ethics intact.
From strategy through execution, the practice delivers improved performance by increasing growth and de-risking strategic choices. They engage all levels of an organization from day one, building momentum and capabilities to sustain the success created together. The BETT model builds the framework for growth, executes the framework edging the transformation and finally transfers it to the team.
The team works on strategy by creating a SWOT of the organization, Vision- Mission – Values, Strategy Map and a Balanced Score Card. In the HR domain they develop HR Policy as per industry benchmark, organization structure and redefine roles and responsibilities and a Performance Management System.
An owner manager is typically plagued with 3 distinct realms – figuring out what to do, getting things done and doing it himself. Tough task to be on all the rungs at all times. Sometimes the challenge is with the leader himself who finds it difficult to delegate and trust, leaving the team feeling inadequate. This gets addressed during the intervention itself as the leader is coached on his day-to-day challenges and the team is developed to take on and handle more!
