Mahul Brahma, Head-Corporate Communications and Branding for mjunction, received the “Young Achiever Award” in the “National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Communication” held in Bangalore on September 1, 2016 (Taj, Vivanta). Mahul has received this award in the individual category. The award is given for achievements of an individual in his professional field as a communicator and beyond. Mahul’s contribution as a communicator lies in giving excellent visibility to a B2B brand in media nationally as well as internationally. In this “Young Achiever” category the jury also assessed other achievements of Mahul. His debut film as an actor got selected and was screened at the 69th Cannes Film Festival, this year, where he was invited. Mahul has also been a commentator and prolific writer on luxury and his book on luxury will be launched this month titled “Decoding Luxe: Discovering facets of luxury”. The body that gives out these awards are World CSR Foundation. Mahul’s achievements were found in line with the stiff criteria set by the jury, which comprised eminent personalities from various walks of life.
Upon receiving the award Mahul said: “God has been kind. I am humbled to receive this coveted award. The competition was very stiff and I am thankful to the jury for selecting me as the “Young Achiever” as this is a tricky category where they judge your achievements in the field of corporate communications and beyond. In my case, the selection of my debut film at 69th Cannes Film Festival has played an important role. I thank the jury and am very happy that they selected me for this award. I look forward to keep doing good work.”

He has been a heading corporate communications and branding for RP-SG Group, Ambuja Neotia and currently mjunction, which is the biggest B2B ecommerce company. His debut film “Elixir” as an actor was chosen this year for screening at Cannes Film Festival. He is a columnist with The Economic Times and a commentator on luxury.
