Jammu, April 20   A cobra gave security personnel anxious moments when it was spotted on the lawns of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s official residence here earlier this week.

Mufti had to delay her schedule after the snake was seen on the lawns of her Wazarat Road residence in Jammu on Tuesday, an official said on Thursday.

A team from the wildlife department was deputed to the residence who caught the snake.

“The chief minister was requested to stay inside till the deadly reptile was caught and removed”, sources said.
